OPEN DAY 2011
August 27
This year the Garden Day was
quieter than usual but far from uneventful. Some 10 mm of rain fell on
the Garden during the day which made for an interesting day. Most of the
plants brought here for the day were sold. We are still selling more from the Gallery
Greenhouse. So get in quick !
Jeff's unusual gumnut key
rings and necklaces also sold well. The sausage sizzle lunch was a
success,
and many of the Stepping Stone Tiles were painted by the young and the
young at heart who thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Carol McCormack's Art
Exhibition was well attended on the day with many
of her paintings being sold
