Some
of the plants Dorothy painted grow in the beds outside the gallery. Also here are the three Gordon grevilleas, plus other interesting
grevillea species, and a selection of water plants in experimental water
gardens.

The leadlight panel at the entrance to the
gallery was created by local people with the help of expert tuition from Dermot
Clifford. The three panels (repeated here for effect) depict the 3 Gordon grevilleas (from the
top) Merinda, Sandra and Robyn. The lobby doubles as visitor information
centre and gift shop (see Gift Shop).

Marianne Irvine is another
photographer inspired by our Garden. She describes her award winning 'abstract Impressiongraphs' as
'blurry out-of-focus Myall
Park images ... very personal, very instinctive, very much from the
heart'. |

Japanese artist Dobashi Sakiko spent several weeks at the
Garden painting a series of
Australian acacia paintings exhibited in Japan. |
|

The
'Cyberflora' mural was
designed via internet by a group of artists connected in various ways to the
Garden,
then painted on the front of the gallery by local artists. Postcards and
prints of the striking mural are available from
the Gift
Shop.
